The cream on top of our greek and whole milk yogurt recipes is how yogurt was traditionally made—before industrial processing changed the texture. The slow-kettle cooking method allows milk to really shine.

And since we don't homogenize our milk, the cream rises naturally to the top. Some people stir it in. Some eat it first. Personally, we alternate between the two!

Tree Island Yogurt started with a hyperlocal focus. We made everything in small batches, partnering with Vancouver Island (and other BC) farms to source the best ingredients, from milk to fruit, and sold mostly in stores not far from where we live.

Over the years, our focus on quality Canadian ingredients hasn't changed at all, but our batch size has! And so has our distribution—now we sell yogurt all across the country!

Today, you can find us in stores from BC to Ontario (and tons of places in between) including in Costco, Save-On-Foods, Thrifty Foods, Whole Foods, independent grocers, and other specialty markets. And the list is growing!
