You can take the lads out of the valley.... But you can't take the valley out of the lads!

While on course up northern Ontario we met and became good friends with Rocky Ridge Bison! 🦬 Of course we got bored once or twice and when they mentioned ! While we were staying up. They let us help some and that was an awesome experience. Did some . And we in return helped them fix up their newer needed some bearings rolled in. Thank you guys for helping us feel right at home and letting us hang out.

We fired up a beautiful 1977 C70 Chevrolet dump truck (6v53) a real screaming Jimmy! It had been in the shed a long while but was pretty easy to get running.... I didn't have to do anything the other lad did all the wrenching I just was his lovely Manna White 😂. (Assistant)... It's a Joke for old people if you got it your old now.

That stretch of the north was awesome 😎 the head waters of the Ottawa River was certainly a unexpected gem. it had it all.

I’m offering a non-riding lease opportunity with one of my horses for someone who enjoys spending time around horses and is comfortable handling them on the ground.
✨ $25/week
✨ 1–2 days per week
A non-riding lease includes scheduled time with the horse for grooming, bonding, and general groundwork activities without riding.
Time with the horse may include:
• Grooming and care
• Hand walking
• Ground handling and bonding time
• Learning or assisting with the basics of driving, for the right person
This would be a great fit for someone who:
🐴 Misses being around horses
🐴 Wants horse time without riding commitments
🐴 Enjoys groundwork and building a connection with a horse

The Denbigh View Ranch management team took a turn on the mini ex today.... Couldn't be happier with the results. .

We started at basic controls. And by the end of the day we were on to piling up the bedding pack using the thumb.

Next time we'll get her learning to walk the machine and using the blade.

When's the last time you went through the gears on a 3 on the tree?

This old 1979 ford f100 we rescued a few years ago and have been slowly repairing things on it. Today we took it for its first drive in over 10 years.

Spent some time with the ponies after school today. The last few times have been a bit of a fight because when someone leaves on an adventure, a few want to join.
So, Paisley got to practice tying, Jed came out to be groomed in a different location while Gracie tacked up Jeffery to hitch him to the cart today.
Jed got to chill tied up with some hay and Paisley was rewarded and got to come for a walk with us while Gracie practiced driving Jeff on her cart.

Paisley wasn’t happy to go back without Jed so I had to send Gracie to grab Jed and have her lead him back into the pasture. He was so focused on everyone else going in that he didn’t realize she had walked up, clipped on the other lead rope and was about to start walking away, it actually spooked him a minute because he’s not used to someone that small 😂 it was a bit intimidating but she did it! Even removed his halter too.

Sometimes you gotta get creative, make more work to create less frustration🤣 but hey, no random horses joining us!

Welcome to the ranch baby sheep's 🐑!

Our newest additions are here. And we need help naming them. The twins are one male and one female.

Mable had given birth sometime this morning. When we came out, we found her and these two in the barn. Big thanks to Tony Fritsch and Gale for the straw! The sheep appreciate it!

The girls are putting me out of work around here! 😂 Got home from work, the driveways done, horses are blanketed, dinners made .... Might have to break something to keep myself relevant around here.

our new farm truck. We bought this in B.C. Canada flew out and drove it home. Having a mini vacation along the way. Back in Ontario Canada it got fully gone over, fixed our transmission not shifting issue was a computer wiring short now it's ready to haul some hay, horse and heavy equipment. For less than 1/4 the price of a new one.
