Defining our style as designers at The Flower Guys is something that is always evolving. We’re learning that some of our favourite work happens when a bouquet becomes more than just flowers — when every stem has a story.

Chloe Parker ‘s burgundy bouquet was truly a labour of love, and one that involved a whole little community.

Chloe asked us for something dark, romantic and as close to black as nature would give us — and somehow, everything came together at exactly the right time.

At the heart of it was the incredibly rare and notoriously hard to grow, Czarny Charakter dahlia, grown by Scott’s mom, Kelly. She waited two years for this plant to finally bloom, which she purchased from the wonderful Amble & Blume - Mostly Dahlias in 2025 and somehow its first flowers arrived just in time for Chloe’s wedding. You really couldn’t plan it if you tried.

We tucked in flowers from our own garden that we had grown specifically with this wedding in mind, along with beautiful locally grown product from all our local flower friends and our ever amazing Mt Newton Floral !

That’s what we’re realizing The Flower Guys style is becoming.

A little unexpected. A little wild. Locally grown whenever we can. Flowers chosen not just because they’re beautiful, but because they mean something.

This bouquet passed through a lot of hands before it ever reached Chloe’s — and we think that makes it even more special.

Grown, gathered and designed with a whole lot of love.

🚨🍕 LAST MINUTE PIZZA ALERT! 🍕🚨

Well… this one hurts a little. 😭

We just had 11 pizzas cancelled for TODAY, which means 11 pizza reservations are suddenly available!

🐂 These spots are available on a first come, first served basis.

To claim one, simply comment below with:
🍕 The number of pizzas you’d like
🍕 Which pizza varieties you’re after
👤 The name you’d like the reservation held under

We’ll work through comments in the order they’re received and confirm your spot as quickly as we can! 🤠✨

💛 This is also a gentle reminder of why we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel.

When we receive advance notice, we’re able to contact families on our cancellation list so they have a chance to rearrange their plans and enjoy a Pizza Night at the Farm.

Unfortunately, because these cancellations came through today, our waitlist didn’t even get the opportunity to snap them up before the event. 😔

If your plans ever change, a little notice truly goes a long way, not just for us, but for another family hoping for a night at the farm. 🌾❤️

We honestly don’t know what to say.

The response from our incredible community has absolutely blown us away, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Watching so many families, friends, and neighbours get excited about Pizza Night at the Farm has been the best feeling. 💛🌾

That said… we’re now worried some of you might miss out on all the fun!

FAQ’s 🍕 Pizza Night at Birds Eye Cove Farm – Your Questions Answered! 🐮🌾

With Pizza Nights selling out so quickly, we’ve put together answers to some of our most frequently asked questions!

🍕 How do I reserve?
Reservations are made exclusively through our website via Eventbrite. To make sure your booking is received, please avoid booking by phone, email, or Facebook messages.

⏰ Booking closes at 5:00 PM on the Friday before your selected Pizza Night.

🎟️ How many tickets do I need?
One ticket = One pizza!

For example:
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Group of 4 wanting 3 pizzas? Reserve 3 tickets.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Group of 6 wanting 8 pizzas? Reserve 8 tickets.

Reserve for the number of pizzas you’d like, not the number of guests.

🍕 Do I order ahead or at the farm?
Your pizza selections are made during booking so our chefs can prepare for the evening.

🥗 Salads and desserts are selected when you arrive and paid for on-site.

📅 Need to cancel?
We totally understand, life happens!

Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice whenever possible so we can offer your reservation to another family.

💛 Reservations are complimentary this season, so there’s no cancellation fee, but your notice helps us keep Pizza Night full.

🔥 My date is sold out!
Don’t worry!

✅ Book another available Tuesday while spaces remain.
✅ Ask to be added to our Cancellation List, we often contact guests the weekend before if spaces become available.

🧺 What seating is available?
We have both indoor and outdoor seating, but our favourite way to enjoy Pizza Night is with:

🧺 A picnic blanket
🪑 A comfy lawn chair

Find your perfect spot around the farm and soak in golden hour overlooking the Cowichan Views.

🐶 Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely!

Friendly, well-socialized dogs are welcome outdoors provided they:
🐾 Stay on a leash.
🐾 Are respectful of other guests.
🐾 Have their owners clean up after them so everyone can continue enjoying the farm.

🍻 Do you serve alcohol?
Not yet…

We’re currently not licensed to serve alcohol.

🌱 Do you have gluten-free or dairy-free options?
We currently offer a vegan cheese add-on for $6.

While we hope to introduce gluten-free crusts in the future, they aren’t available this season.

Please note our kitchen cannot guarantee against cross-contamination, so we cannot recommend our pizzas for guests with severe allergies or celiac disease.

Your Eventbrite confirmation email allows you to:
