New beer: 🛌 Pillow Talk 🤫 Hazy pale ale, 4.6%.

Whisper sweet tasting notes of citrus and stone fruit to me. Tell me about a hazy pale ale, soft and pillowy, hopped with Idaho 7, Luminosa, and Motueka, velvety-smooth start to finish.

Balsam English Dark Mild is in cans to go. Three years of you asking, and here it is.

3.8%. Cacao, fresh roast coffee and toasted biscuit up front, molasses underneath, with a hint of smoke behind it. Dark in the glass, light on its feet.

Take a few to the lake. Crack one by the fire. It keeps up with a long evening.

Still on nitro at the taproom, soft and creamy the way you know it. The cans carry a little more carbonation, so they drink a touch livelier.

New beer: 🌾 Field Notes 📝 Belgian table beer, 4.4%.

Light and easy with a mellow Belgian character and dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin. That hop comes from New Zealand and tastes a lot like Sauvignon Blanc. White grape, gooseberry, a little flinty, a little tropical.

Good things come from working the fields, this one included.

Patio weather and a fresh beer. Good timing.

Brewed with real grapefruit for fresh citrus front to back, then finished clean and dry so it drinks easy in the sun.

New Feature Pizza: Spring Zucchini

Spring zucchini, roasted chickpeas, red onion, goat cheese, and almonds on a garlic aioli base, finished with lemon and herb honey. Bright, fresh, and a little sweet where you don’t expect it.

Tomorrow we Sizzle! Balsam with Blackberry, pouring on the Beer Engine.

Cask gets tapped at 1pm tomorrow, Tuesday, June 30. It’s our dark mild with blackberry, pulled by hand on the engine for that soft, smooth, cask-conditioned pour. Made for a patio afternoon.

We’re open 11:30am to 10pm, and the whole street is in on it, north to south. Wander the block and see what everyone has on.

New beer: 🏳️‍🌈 Out & About 🏳️‍⚧️ - Hazy IPA, 5.3%.

Our year 3 pride brew is here, and it’s all about taking up space and being exactly who you are. Brewed with Luminosa and Idaho 7 for bright stone fruit and citrus, with a soft, juicy finish that keeps you coming back.

We’re a couple weeks into pride month, but pride doesn’t run on a schedule. There’s still plenty of season left to celebrate!

Every pour gives back. Proceeds from Out & About go to CHEW Project YEG , supporting 2SLGBTQ+ youth right here in Edmonton.
