Flying A Performance Horses

After spending a couple years trying my hand at boarding horses, I found it wasn’t for me and I was unable to focus on producing versatile performance horses.

So, I made a big change and we’re getting back to our roots to where it all started.

My dad Jay Dee Akins founded Flying A Performance horses officially in 2000. Although he trained and made high caliber rope and ranch horses since he was a teenager.

It became pretty apparent as I grew older that I was going to follow in my dad’s footsteps. My dad helped me make exceptional horses all through my juinor and high school rodeo days which carried into my adult years.

The horses that come through my program and are well rounded by the time and have seen miles before they make it to the roping or barrel pen. Which I believe is a huge advantage to the career and success of any horse.

I have been very fortunate to learn from some of the best horsemen in Canada, USA and Europe.

I offer training, lessons and sales.

We are also offering a New Horse Owner Clinic for new horse owners or people who are looking to make the leap into horse ownership!
