On September 30th, we mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

Devils Gap Marina and Bare Point Marina are proudly owned and operated by Wauzhushk Onigum First Nation. As part of the Anishinaabe Nation in Treaty 3 territory, our history, identity, and connection to these lands and waters run deep.

Treaty #3 was signed as a sacred agreement of sharing, respect, and peaceful coexistence. True reconciliation requires us to reflect on the truths of this territory including the history and painful legacy of Residential Schools like St. Mary’s and Cecilia Jeffrey.

Today, and every day, we honour the Survivors, their families, and the children who never made it home. Reconciliation is an ongoing responsibility that belongs to all of us.

If this is your car, the tow truck has been called. Devil's Gap is paid reserved parking until Oct 31st. The people who pay for spot #22 couldn't use their space when they got here.
