There are few things that say *summer* quite like a waffle cone on a hot day. 🍦☀️

Our picnic tables have been full of sticky fingers, big smiles, and cousins making summer memories together... and honestly, we’re here for it.

If you’re out for a drive, heading to the beach, or just looking for an excuse to get out of the house, stop by and treat everyone to an ice cream. No rush, no big plans required—just good ice cream and a beautiful place to enjoy it.

The animals are spending these hot afternoons doing exactly what we’d hope... finding a shady spot and taking it easy. 🐐🌳 even if they’re napping, consider it the perfect excuse to grab a cone and soak up a little summer yourself. The petting farm is quieter on these hot afternoons - you can enjoy some quiet intimate time with each of the animals- but do check with us before coming if it’s super hot and later in the afternoon- we may close the petting farm section early.

But the store is always open **Wednesday through Sunday, 10 AM–4 PM** all summer long. Ice cream is always available! 😋

One of the best-kept secrets about summer at Yellow Point Farms? ☀️

It’s one of the quietest times to visit our petting farm.

Fewer crowds mean more time to connect with the animals, ask questions, and enjoy the simple moments that make the farm so special. You’ll often find a goat looking for scratches, curious sheep waiting to say hello, pigs snoozing in the shade, baby chicks to cuddle, and plenty of friendly faces eager to meet you. 🐽

If you’ve been thinking about visiting, this is a wonderful time to come. Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, or simply enjoy a peaceful afternoon surrounded by animals and fresh country air. 🐐🌿

Grab some fresh produce and an ice cream cone, and of course, experience that joy of animal therapy!

We are open 10-4 Wednesday to Sunday, and yes, *we are OPEN on Monday August 3rd BC Day!*

We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel…
Due to today’s rainy forecast, we won’t be attending the Cedar Farmer’s Market. The berries and everything just wouldn’t be good getting all wet loading and unloading there. The good news? Our farm store is open 10-4 today, and literally bursting with fresh fruit! We will have tons of:
🫐 Blueberries (best week yet- chandlers, Elliot’s, and pink lemonade!
🌰 Fresh figs- desert king - so delicious
🍑 golden plums - sale! Quarts for $5.99
🧄 Garlic - big and beautiful
🥒 Zucchini - special- any size 2/$3!!

Happy 10th Birthday to our Jameson! 🎉
Around here, he’s known for negotiating his wages before the chore starts. 😂 But once a deal is struck, he’ll happily feed animals, harvest zucchini, collect eggs, or do just about anything to help us out.
He’s got a fascination with history and antiques, a vocabulary that catches us off guard daily, and isn’t shy about breaking into song while in the shower, cleaning his room, or wandering the farm. He’s kind, thoughtful, curious, and keeps us laughing every single day.
Watching him grow into such a wonderful young man has been one of our greatest joys. Happy 10th Birthday, handsome. We love you to pieces. ❤️
