Springtime Bella Bubbles with Jay & Wendy

Bella is a sparkling w**e house focused on single vineyard, clonal expressions of Okanagan Valley grapes.

Springtime new releases include ‘23 Mariani Muscat and a beautiful sparkling Cab Franc.

BC w**e… let’s chat about BC w**e.
1. We are so fortunate to live in a province with w**e regions.
2. W**e is an agricultural product (when made naturally) and is affected by the weather.
3. Recent weather irregularities like the deep freeze last month could mean a massive loss of vines.
4. Freshly planted vines can take 3+ years to produce fruit (longer if growing organically).
5. With increases in everything including glass, our w**e makers are looking at some really tough years.

So all this to say, if you do drink w**e and can afford to pay a few extra bucks for our local w**es, please do! Our w**e growers need our support now more than ever.

Despite having a great agricultural minister, there is really not much support for small scale farms and w**eries in BC, plus the ancient laws restricting interprovincial sales are unhelpful.

If you really want to support, I highly recommend joining a specific w**ery’s W**e Club where you’ll be treated to all their best selections. Cheers to just a sampling of those that are making some beautiful w**es that we are showcasing by the glass right now:

A delicious creation with Krupnik Spiced Honey Liqueur from

Vodka 1 1/2oz
Apple Liqueur 1/2oz
Krupnik Honey Liqueur 4 Sprays
Lemon Juice 1/2oz
Demerara Syrup 1/2oz

*Spray glass with Krupnik after chilling, shake & strain, then spray again with Krupnik*
G- Dehydrated Apple Slice
*Clip apple slice to side of glass*

We'd love you to meet Bree Toor of Ursa Major W**es. Bree will be introducing two Fall releases from Ursa Major:

2022 "Mother of Melancholy" Gewürztraminer

A deeply textured, energetic and lively single varietal Gewürztraminer. This has become one of Ursa's favourite varieties to work with and drink.

2022 "Welcome to Hard Times" Cabernet Franc

An incredibly lush and vibrant Cabernet Franc! This will unfortunately be the last red w**e for at least a couple of years, because we did not get to make any reds this vintage due to a myriad of environmental variables. BUT this Franc will keep you satiated for a while, it is floral, driven by minerals, savoury spice but also very very plush and rounded red and blue fruits
