Springwood Stables Riders of any age or level will love Springwood, a family run and professional show facility makes it

Riders of all ages and skill levels enjoy their time at Springwood Stables. Qualified instructors and gentle horses and ponies provide a safe and fun learning environment. We Offer:
-Riding Lessons to all level riders with a focus on English Hunter/Jumper
-Summer Riding camps
-Clinics
-Schooling shows
- A large 200x80 indoor arena for all weather riding

Our Lessons are run and billed on a 4 week

schedule, here are the different formats we offer.
-Group Lessons (max 6 riders) $160 for 1 ride a week, $320 for 2 rides a week
-Private 30min Lesson $200 for one ride a week. This is a great option for new riders or young riders.
-Private 1hr adult lessons $300
-Semi Private $240
-Small group lessons (capped at 3 riders) these lessons will give riders a more focused lesson, that allows more jumping and 1to1 with instructor $220.

So much fun learning about horses, building confidence, and playing games with our amazing young riders! From horse knowledge to hands-on activities, everyone did a fantastic job tonight. ❤️

Watching these little equestrians learn, laugh, and grow each week is one of the best parts of what we do. We can’t wait for next Wednesday’s adventures!

Just a friendly reminder to let us know which days you would like to ride in July and August.

Please check your email, as we have sent out a calendar with all lesson dates and available time slots. We are hoping to finalize the schedule within the next week, so we would appreciate hearing back from you as soon as possible.

Horse Nutrition Fun Fact! 🌾🥕

Did you know that a horse’s stomach is surprisingly small for such a big animal?

A horse’s stomach only holds about 2–4 gallons (8–15 litres), which is tiny compared to their size! That’s why horses are designed to eat small amounts of food throughout the day instead of having a few large meals like people do.

In the wild, horses spend 16–18 hours a day grazing on grasses and plants. Their digestive system works best when food is moving through it regularly.

• Lots of forage (hay or grass) helps keep their tummy healthy.
• Fresh water is essential every day.
• Grain and treats should only be fed in appropriate amounts.
• Sudden feed changes can upset a horse’s digestive system.
