Thank you everyone that came out the past week and did the Tulip Tour! Thank you to everyone that supported our little farmstand. So many new and familiar faces. We hope you enjoyed the tour. It’s a lot of work to be a flower farmer, but it’s a whole other level of work to invite people to look at your farm! Thank you for noticing the flowers and not the weeds! 😂 I seriously did try to keep up between the rain!!! We hope you took lots of pictures and are inspired. Thanks again. That’s a wrap on Tulip Tour 2026.

It’s a little muddy, and kinda gloomy , but the tulip tour and farmstand is open today (Sunday June 7th)! 11-4 pm

A few weeks ago I used the Pet Spot repair on our lawn to quickly fix the pet spots. It was really easy to use and worked pretty good. It’s a blend of granulated microbiology made from worm castings to break down the urine enzymes and contains grass seed mixed right in. I probably should have went back over it with another sprinkle as I forgot to tell Tyson I did it and he mowed the lawn shortly after I applied it 🤦🏻‍♀️ but it still worked pretty well. We have this product available in the farmstand.

Unlocking the potential of our soil. Things we don’t need to do now that we’ve learned plants have a relationship with soil microbiology. We don’t need to fertilize, we don’t deal with compaction, we don’t need to water frequently. Why? Since adding soil microbiology to our soil, we’ve learned that the microbes unlock nutrients that are existing in the soil but are unavailable to the plants to uptake because they nutrients are bound up in the clay particles. Adding biology instead of more nutrients in the form of fertilizer supports a thriving system. Fixing broken links in the soil that the plants are existing in. If the plant needs a particular nutrient, it releases specific exudates from its roots that attracts the specific microbiology that can provide that nutrient in exchange for the exudate the plant is offering. Networks and a community of soil biology are built around the plant roots improving moisture retention, nutrient availability, disease and pest resistance and overall a thriving plant living in an environment that is full of life. We’ve learned that feeding the soil, supporting the soil microbiology builds the soil and plant vigour.
However, We do add nutrients in the form of amendments as a balanced system. It’s very easy to over amend with one thing or another causing more nutrients to be locked up in the soil due to the negative or positive charge of the particles. For this reason we do the following.
👉To add a balanced ratio of nutrients to soil without locking up any plant available nutrients, we amend with Superworm soil.
👉to add soil microbiology to make what’s already in the soil available to the plant we add premium worm castings (which is in Superworm soil but is fantastic just on its own)
👉 to aide the plant in stressful situations and help it produce exudates we use premium liquid extract (which is in Superworm soil but is fantastic just on its own)
👉to hold soil biology and nutrients in the soil for long duration we use Super biochar (which is in Superworm soil but is fantastic just on its own)

All products available in the farmstand. Bags of Superworm and 20L bags of premium worm castings are on sale for buy 5 get the 6th free.
