Our final weekend of the season. 🍂

And what a beautiful season it has been.

We are endlessly grateful for this community.
For every person who stopped by, picked up something local, brought a friend, shared a post, chatted with us at the stand, or simply chose to support small and local. You have kept this little farmstand going, and we truly couldn’t do it without you. 🤎

And just as much gratitude goes to our wonderful vendors, who show up week after week with the things they grow, bake, preserve, pour, create and make by hand. There is something pretty special about filling a farmstand with things made by people who care deeply about what they do.

Today & tomorrow — Saturday & Sunday, 10am–4pm

And we’re especially excited to welcome a special guest vendor for our final weekend:

🏺 Amy Laloon Pottery has brought us a collection of beautiful, completely unique handmade mugs. No two are quite alike, and once they’re gone, they’re gone; so come have a look and find the one that feels like yours.

If you’ve been meaning to make one last trip to the farmstand, this is the weekend. 🌻

In the darkness, you can barely see a thing.

And then...FLASH.

For just a moment, the maple tree stands perfectly silhouetted against the night sky.

Another flash. Another glimpse.

I’ve always admired lightning for the way it commands attention without asking for it.

It doesn’t need to make a sound.
It doesn’t need to announce itself.
It lasts for only a split second, and yet every living thing around it seems to stop and notice.

There’s something powerful about that.

Maybe that’s why I’ve always loved watching it.

Wild. Brief. Unmistakable.

Last night, the homestead put on a little show of its own.

The farmstand is open today until 4pm.

The Black fridge is stocked full of Fresh Organic Produce, The white fridge is stocked full of farm fresh eggs $6/dozen and Fermentandflourish has just dropped off freshly baked sourdough bread.

Little Frankie's Hot Sauce is available with a variety of flavors and The Witch's Kitchen and MC Preserves have a large variety of preserves, jams and jellies waiting for you.

Today at Maple Hills Homestead, you all showed up and absolutely wiped out the stand! 🥹💚

So, naturally, we got on the phone with our amazing vendors to see how quickly they could restock…
