🌿 Farmstand Open Tomorrow – Self Serve! 🌿

The Maple Hills Homestead farmstand will be open tomorrow on a self-serve basis. I'll be around the property but won't be available to attend the stand throughout the day, so I've stocked it with a selection of goodies and plants for you to browse at your convenience.

Available while supplies last:
🥚 Farm-fresh eggs – $6/dozen
🍓 Homemade preserves
🧼 Handmade soaps
🍪 Double chocolate cookies with Skor topping
🍰 Crispy brown sugar-top rhubarb cake
🥮 Sticky buns
🌱 A variety of annual and perennial plants

Please note there will be no sourdough or brown bread available this week.

What an incredible Farmstand Tour season! We'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited both Maple Hills Homestead and Acadian Roots Farmstand, explored our local offerings, and supported small producers in our community. Your support means the world to us and helps keep local food, handmade goods, and family farms thriving right here in New Brunswick.

Some days I walk through the yard dreaming about neat flower beds, perfectly placed shrubs, and a peaceful little path to the greenhouse.

Instead, I’m dodging dump trucks, stepping over toy tractors, and trying not to roll my ankle in the latest “excavation project” created by the kids and dogs working as a team.

The yard is loud, messy, chaotic… and honestly, a full-time job of its own.

But then I stop and realize something.

One day the toys will be gone. The trampoline will come down. The grass will grow over the holes. The yard will finally stay clean and quiet. And while part of me will love the order and the calm… another part of me will ache for the beautiful chaos that once filled it.

So for now, I’ll take the muddy footprints, scattered toys, crooked playhouses, and all the noise that comes with this season of life. Because a perfectly landscaped yard could never fulfill me the way these memories do. 🤍

Maple Hills Homestead has officially made the Top 5 for “Best Bath & Beauty Business” in the 2026 Excellence NB People’s Choice Awards.

To say we’re grateful would be an understatement. What started as handmade soaps crafted with natural ingredients, tradition, and a whole lot of heart has grown because of this incredible community.

Public voting opens May 25 and runs until June 8 and you can vote once per day.

Whether you’ve supported us by shopping the farmstand, sharing our posts, trying our soap, or simply cheering us on… thank you. Every bit of support has helped us get here. 🌿
