Meet the herd! Class photo time!🐮

Our girls got fitted with their new name tags so now when you come for a farm tour this summer you know exactly who’s slobbering all over you! 😆

These are our breeding stock, so all the mamas and of course, Big Sexy at the end! 💪🏻

He didn’t get a flowery name tag because his giant noggin is pretty easy to spot 😅

Everyone’s up to date on their vaccinations and ready for green pastures once we get some rain and some growth!🌧️

Of course, because they aren’t too fond of getting this stuff done every year, we made sure to give them some time in one of our smaller paddocks so they could get some nice fresh grass as a reward for being such good patients 🥼😷

It’s a PIG day on the farm! 🐷

✅Step 1, Operation Soft Landing: Health check, quarantine, settle in and de-stress from the ride here .

🐖Step 2, Operation New Digs: outside for the first time, electric fence training, learn how to be a proper pig!

Safe to say this was a very stimulating day ☺️

We have some happy ducks on our hands! 🤩

They’re out of the barn for the summer and making the most of the pond life!

Who knew they had beautiful green feathers under all that winter dirt? 😅

Jessy (and Jessy’s girls 😏🎵) are Muscovy ducks!

They’re supposed to be really good at finding and eating mosquito larvae- so they fit right in to our regenerative farming model!

By using nature’s own systems to keep everything in balance we don’t have to use chemical sprays or other unnatural things! 🦟🚫

We just get out of the way and let the animals do the work for us! 😄

And now we get to have our morning coffees by the pond while enjoying the ducks and the farm life 🥰
