Rainy days on the farm.

They usually involve cuddled up with a good book, a large pot of homemade soup simmering on the stove and endless mugs of tea to warm the bones.

Layers of clothes are applied to go out and do chores, feed the animals and making sure everyone is bedded down and warm.

Finally, once all the animals are checked returning to the farmhouse to seek a warm, dry spot and showing some gratitude for the moisture for our fields.

🪴 Garden Wool Mulch & Filler 🪴

Our garden wool mulch and filler is a natural, environmentally friendly option to use in your garden with veggies, fruit trees, flowers and container planting.

Waste wool from skirting our fleeces is used as mulch, pest control and help to retain moisture. It slowly releases nitrogen back into the earth as it decomposes.

All of our wool mulch & filler is 100% natural
undyed wool raised in Peace River, AB. No chemicals or sprays are used on our wool.

- use as mulch in your gardens or in containers
- fill pots and containers with a thick layer or wool and add soil on top
- add a thin layer to the bottom seedling trays
- mix a small amount with potting soil

With these brighter and longer days, the ladies have been generous with their laying. ☀️

Our chicken feed is a blend of locally grown grains, soy and corn free, supporting local grain farmers within the Peace Country.

It’s a cold one but it’s also the last one of 2025!!
Today is market day and Christmas is in less then 5 days!! That means you can get treats you don’t have to make your self, last minute gifts, stocking stuffers or just a nice day out to visit. We have coffee and warm vibes!
