Well the words out there!

Today on our 9th anniversary of running Southridge we have this exciting news…
We’ve opened a Burrito Truck!!

We will be open 11:30-2:30 Wednesday- Friday
Once our summer student is available we will open Tuesday- Saturday( First week of July)

We hope you make your way down to try our tasty new venture manned by none other than our very own Rob Landa!!!

Yes, we do have a gluten free fryer AND more than half of the offerings can be gluten free.

Howdy Folks!
It’s Saturday tomorrow and we are so excited to welcome you into our store after a tour around our neighborhood.
The farmers market at the community hall, Pender Chocolates, Pender Islands Conservancy Association, Lorelei Seaside Eatery, ViVi Coffee Co, Kim Pollard Fine Art Studio & Gallery, Studio B and of course Bee Wild Distillery are all within a pleasant walk of each other and certainly could make for a wonderful afternoon. There is a lot going on in this neighborhood these days.

We hope you include us in your plans and look forward to spending sometime with you while you browse our selection of fineries and we talk incessantly about food and food related things.

Gray Day go Away!!!!

It’s not the nicest day today but I guess our wells can use the relief! This smattering of rain should also help out in the garden too!

If the weather inspires you to stay home, why not bake something? Try your hand at some bread, maybe some cookies or even a pie?!?! The possibilities are endless.

And if you’re not up for doing any of that yourself, we also have some options in our freezer section containing our own home made products or things from wooza, Adrianna’s and more!

To note, this is the last week to enter your receipts on purchases of $50 or more into our draw for an Amanda’s Recipe durable cotton apron!! They are so rugged and comfortable.

Heya folks!
It’s a beautiful Saturday and we are open and ready to help. Lots of delicious produce, imported cheeses, charcuterie and fresh sausages from Oyama!!! CHORIZO VERDE IS HERE!!!

The park is open as well for families ( or friends) to come and use the space for games or a picnic. It’s a beautiful day to spend some time there!

The long weekend is approaching and we are getting ready to welcome visitors and local patrons alike!

We will be opening up the park this weekend for folks to use. Games will be out Friday morning and the park hours will run with the store hours until the end of summer. This year Rob secured an outdoor ping pong table!!

The food truck won’t be open just yet though. We are working through recipes and getting our concept tweaked and ready for launch. We will post about that soon. Get ready because this concept will be delicious!

In the mean time, today’s soup is Greek vegetable, we have biscuits and we have fresh baked cookies too. There are reasons to come visit all week long!

They’re BACK SUNWING IN THE HOUSE!!

Back and ready for your salads or just as a tasty treat. Sunwing is serving up beautiful cherry tomatoes and San Marzano tomatoes for you.

Also in stock Burratta and Fior di Latte Mozza. Great with those tomatoes;)

Lots of other great stock topped up from our amazing suppliers like the Yo Egg Poached Ones. Ever try a runny vegan egg?!?!

There is so much more to share so come on in and have a look for yourselves. Tons of great things to share with your mom this Mother’s Day as well.. She’ll love those tomatoes ;)🍅

It’s been hot out there. Hopefully you are staying cool in the garden wearing your sun screen, a hat and of course staying hydrated!

Our one of a kind in house made freezies are now ready to go! Come on in the enjoy anyone of our delicious flavours made with organic fruits and juices! My favourite at the moment is the dark chocolate orange( made with soy milk!)
