Fall, Fall, Fall, Fall. Fall, Fall, Fall Fall! Tis the season!

The store is packed with delicious treats as we get ready for the holiday next week.

We are loaded with dessert options and our famous sausage stuffing not to mention our amazing biscuits frozen and ready for your oven the day of.

We are so blessed to have this beautiful bounty available to us. Pender is just bursting with local produce, goods and wares. What lucky people we are!

Soup today is creamy tomato, sandwiches, cookies and muffins are ready and we are open today until 4 pm.

Soup Season has arrived!!!|

We will be running our soup program Monday to Friday 11-2 ( except holidays) and today’s soup is a fiesta pulled pork with black beans. A tasty warming soup good for the cool weather!

Stay tuned as we release new items and programs during the coming seasons to make your meals and snacks fun and interesting.

Don’t forget to come visit us for your dessert needs this thanksgiving. Sausage stuffing is on its way too and this year I’m working on a fun new vegan version.

We’re getting ready for Thanksgiving!!
I know it’s a few weeks away but now’s the time to start planning that feast and making your guest list!

This year we will be making our contribution to your table in the way of dessert! In our handy freezer in the front room we will have:
Sweet Potato Pie
Toffee Apple pie
Plum Upside Down Cake
Toffee Apple Bread Pudding
And take and bake biscuits in a variety of flavours

We will also have lots of veggies, fruits, condiments and sauces to add some flair to your table. Don’t forget the charcuterie!

Ah, fall🍁🍂
It’s my favourite time of year. Pumpkins are almost ready, squash is aging for cold storage and the garden is in the last stages of harvest!!!

When you’re done with the garden come on in and check out all of our items you can use to make that harvest shine on your plate. Chilli crunch( made with olive oil!!) Vumami umami bombs or their black bean sauces, all the spices and herbs you can imagine( even ones from our own herb garden!)
There is lots in store! Needs some help deciding what to do?? Just ask!

With school on the horizon it’s time for the last hoorah before we move into fall( yeah I said it!!) Come on in and check out new product and get some of the old faves. Enjoy the park space and a sweet treat from the store after your visit to the market and surrounding area.

The store is stocked with amazing treats and some really nice treasures adorn our shelves. Today would be a good day to walk through and have a peek!

This week marks the beginning of the end of season for Warthogs! This week we will be open Tuesday to Friday 11:30-2:30, then starting next week our fall hours will begin( Wed-Fri 11:30-2:30) with us closing for the season on September 25th. It’s been a fantastic season and we are so pleased with the support of our wonderful burritos, bowls and nachos! You are the BEST customers:)

Today is Pender’s Fall Fair! It’s a beautiful event that really showcases what makes Pender “Pender”!
It’s amazing how this community comes together every year to put on this event with the help of farmers, vendors and volunteers (not to mention the contestants who enter their wares into the competition).
I hope that everyone gets a chance to check it out and support this annual tradition.
When you’re done exploring at the fair( or before) we hope to host you as well. We have lots of delicious treats, curio items, charcuterie, cheeses and lots more:)
There is lots to explore in our little neighbourhood and enough to keep you busy all day!
