Southside Market Revelstoke

Southside Market Revelstoke We're an independent local grocer that has been proudly serving Revelstoke for over 40 years But we're also looking to the future and to the rest of the world.

In 1977, Al and Margaret Waters built a small grocery shop at 4th and Edward, the centre of a Revelstoke's "Little Italy." As patrons voiced a desire for a taste of their roots, Southside Market embraced its new role in the community as a specialty Italian grocery.

Today, we have the same philosophy of introducing to Revelstoke a taste of home. In honour of our past (and also because we love prosciutto), we will always bring in Italian specialty goods. If home is where the heart is, then we've left our hearts all over the place! From Toronto to Saigon, we're excited to share our experiences and hope that you will share yours. A delicious adventure at Southside Market awaits as we bring in specialty products from across the globe: foods that will take us to other countries and fresh ingredients that will bring us back home.

Ahhhh it’s the end of September already! Time flies so we’ll make this quick:

The scholarship from Southside Market is rewarded to students who are not just responsible and dedicated - but also thoughtful, kind and adored by dogs everywhere. Congratulations to our Southside Scholars for 2025 and 2026: Mya & Leif!

It’s always a joy to witness the growth and confidence that our students gain in their time at Southside. We’re excited to see everything that they’ll accomplish in the years to come!

We kept the Kevin’s Kitchen dumplings a secret for over a month to make as many as possible before word got out! We’re so grateful for the community support and we hope you loved them! 🫶🏻 Just a reminder to everyone (and to Kevin) that there is only one awesome person making dumplings by hand. He’ll do his best to keep them stocked, but it takes time and a guy’s gotta golf, ok?!?

Kevin’s Kitchen 🤝 Southside Market

After 10 years serving delicious home cooked meals at their restaurant, Kevin and Lu closed down last year. We missed them so much that we had to figure something out! Kevin’s dumplings are now at Southside! We’re so lucky to share in his home cooking - his own family recipe, fresh ingredients and decades of skill.

Kevin's Kitchen Dumplings now available in the frozen section!
