I was so happy to get these pics from Michaela Johnstone! She has had quite the journey with Flit and although an incident ended her career - we are so grateful that she chose Rio to carry on her legacy!

Flit and I go way back before she was ever even thought of being conceived - as a good friend of mine and I were talking about the other day, everything is relationships...
From a road trip with Kim Welter who so kindly brought her dam Firewater Junebug home for us, to my long time friendship with Keri Schweer who did a c**t share with me and bred Junebug to Frenchs Hula Guy - Flit is the result and she found a terrific home with a truly wonderful human in Michaela. It hasn't been easy at all for her but this just makes it all worth it!🥰

**Firewater Junebug is also the dam who produced (out of Keri Schweer's Jet Of Honor son) Kennedy Smith's Sekret Agent Watson who we all know and love watching!"
The breeding game can take a long time to come around but this is so cool to see the horses I have known produce offspring that have ended up in good hands and doing so well! 💖

3:30 AM seems to be the new foaling time around here.

I’m a few days late on this one Coyote Creek Ranch sent me of her first foal out of Zillas Purple Haze.
He’s outstanding - I’m always so impressed with the quality of our young stud’s foals 🥰
