Meet Rick! 🍻
In 2019, Rick and his wife Fran took a big leap and opened Caps Off Brewing. Long before Caps Off became what it is today, there was an idea, a love for brewing, and a whole lot of work. As one of the owners of Caps Off, Rick has been a huge part of building the brewery from the ground up and continues to keep the beer flowing as our brewer and production manager.
His favourite beer to brew is Drop of a Hat IPA, which is always a busy and exciting brew day. For Rick, there’s nothing quite like the sense of accomplishment that comes when a tank is filled with fresh wort and fermentation gets started. After all the work that goes into getting there, watching that process begin is pretty rewarding.
Over the years, Rick has seen Caps Off grow from an idea into a welcoming community where people come together, make memories, and share a love of great beer. One of his favourite parts of being involved is seeing familiar faces, meeting new people, and watching the brewery become a place that feels like home to so many. He’s excited to keep building that community while exploring new beers and beverage creations!
Rick has been a huge part of the Caps Off story from day one. We wouldn’t be here without him! 🍻
