Susan slipped in making 4 jams to bring back Plum Amaretto Jam and bring numbers up on:

Concord Grape Jelly 🍇
Raspberry Jam
Summerberry Jam (🍓 🫐 strawberry blueberry raspberry)

She makes 18 varieties in total! All are $7/jar, and out dwindling stock of Antipasto are $10/jar

We're bringing the whole stock to market Saturday Aug 22nd to the Algoma Farmers' Market (8:30-1pm)

So don't stop by the house to ask Sheldon the dog not Terry for any jars... They're very protective of the jars we put on our morning toast! 🍞

Many, many tomatoes will be available on our table at the Aug 22nd 2026 Algoma Farmers' Market on our tables!

Like these decorative but delicious Costoluto Genovese tomatoes!

Grown in our greenhouse, every one is hand picked:
No robots, no AI enhancements. No marketing-wankery like "field ripened" or "vine ripened" to hide the lack of flavour most store bought tomatoes that are gassed when green to force-ripen them.

These are picked at 'breaker' stages of orangey-pink to "OMG how did I miss picking this one yesterday!!!". And then every one is inspected and graded by the person writing this post.

We are going to have a few "dill cucumber kits" with
- small cukes ($12/3L basket)
- pickling dill $2/bu
- garlic (priced by size/mass)

6pm update: Susan is done beans, picked some orders and is readying supper!

Terry trimmed up the broccoli 🥦 for you and we're letting it chill. 🧄 Garlic is his next: he was the one that dug up the whole wheelbarrow full you all saw easier today!

Chris zipped off to pick up his wife from work just to return to tell you what's going on.

Cheis' tasks: Still need to pick cukes, pickling dill, and other bunched herbs.

Going to be a long but productive day!

🥦 Broccoli will be at market, essentially first cut off out early Blue Wind variety
👑 Tiara Cabbage

More cukes to pick 'cause orders and neighbours, bless then, cleaned us out of all sizes below "Green Guinea Pig" 🐹

We are still mid pick on Friday, with significant orders and pickups...

That said, wr will have a variety of vegetables at market. Susan did most of her baking and restocked a batch of Antipasto.
