Now that this quilt has gone to its new home, I can finally show it off with enormous delight! After many months of working on this baby quilt for a new family member, countless fabric changes and colour planning, it’s onwards to Ontario in its new home.

This fussy cut quilt features fabric from Lori Doody and my favourites from Heather Ross Fabrics. Many many fabrics ordered from .smt and more! Endless hours of rearranging fabrics and choosing pieces with meaning for its recipients. Lots of Newfoundland references (partridgeberries, blueberries, dories and row houses), and little snippets of memories from over the years, favourites and likes, and storybooks such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Guess How Much I Love You, Peter Pan, and Peter Rabbit.

Quilt pattern is by and longarm quilting was completed by in Witless Bay.

My wall looks bare now but I hope little babe and his beautiful family have many years of finding treasures in these stars ⭐️

Thanks to all the lovely folks who came by today and to for a great community market! If you missed out but are looking for something, feel free to send a dm.
