Always cool to add new local product to our displays. Darrell Williams dropped off NL. Outport Tales II, a collection of original stories featuring several narraters. The first volumne, released 2 years ago did very well.

Also, a debut CD from Eversweet. Jordan Harnum and Joelle Sunshine from Twillingate deliver a rootsy collection of mostly originals with the help of a star-studded cast that includes Andrew Dale and Geraldine Hollett of the Once, Gerry Strong, Carole Bestvater and Labrador's Silver Wolf Band. Phil Churchill(The Once) produced the recording.

Both CD's priced at $15.98 plus tax.

It was 50 years ago when "The Boys Are Back In Town" snuck on to the rotation in Newfoundland. It did modestly well on AM. Radio charts but for this 16 year old, it was an eye-opener into Thin Lizzy, their potency and distinctiveness in the sphere of 'heavy rock'. I couldn't get enough of the song, damn near wore out my 45. Just started Grade 10, wicked pair of leather pointy shoes and snaking around Water Street after class, this became my 'anthem'.
Here we have the original album, "Jailbreak", so fantastic, a Live double offering from thatncredible year and the band's 'self-titled' debut on limited green vinyl.
