There is a lot more preparation to the maple syrup season then you would think! Over the winter we spend a lot of time managing our sugar bushes and making sure that the next generation on sugar maples can grow up strong and healthy. We work at removing sick or dying trees so new growth has the chance to grow. This is just one of many steps to make sure that our sugar bush is able to provide delicious maple syrup for generations to come.

Great way to end the 2025 maple syrup season. Seeing this guy! Always surprises in the woodlot. Was told lifespan their is 10-15 years!

Another Maple Weekend has come and gone. With over 800 pancakes made and over 500 turkey breakfast sausages cooked you all sure know how to support local! We love to be able to share our passion for maple syrup with our community. We hope that you learned something new this weekend and enjoyed some yummy food. We would also like to give a round of applause to our friends who gave up time on their weekend to come and volunteer. Without your help there is no way that we would be able to run Maple Weekend. Only steam! Our wood fired evaporator is very efficient, so no smoke. The season is winding down, and all most over. It goes by too quickly every year, for me.
