Harvest is behind us, and October has arrived at Can Gelat. 🍇

The vineyard is settling into a calmer rhythm, with the first real rainy days in between plenty of Mallorcan sunshine.

Our Callet was one of the last grapes to be harvested, hand-picked row by row with the whole family as always. We’re incredibly proud of this year’s harvest and can’t wait to share the 2026 w**es with you next year.

In the meantime, October is still a beautiful time to visit us for a w**e tasting, before we slow things down a little in November. Salut! 🍷

Introducing Vi Dolç, our brand-new sweet w**e.

Rich and expressive, yet remarkably fresh, Vi Dolç is defined by the balance between natural sweetness and vibrant acidity.

Beautifully aromatic with ripe fruit, dried apricot and subtle notes of honey. On the palate, it is silky and layered, revealing stewed fruit, a hint of ginger and a delicate touch of almond. The finish is long and fresh, with nuances of cinnamon and a refined bitter note of orange peel.

Enjoy it with dessert, alongside cheese, as a final glass after dinner, or simply on its own.

Our Can Gelat Ecological Callet, slowly changing colour in the Mallorcan sun.

Right now the grapes are entering véraison, the beautiful moment when they begin to ripen and shift from green to soft pink, purple and deeper red tones.

From here, the berries start building sugar, the acidity slowly softens, and the aromas, colour and flavour begin to develop. With Callet, this happens in its own quiet rhythm: sometimes cluster by cluster, sometimes even berry by berry.

A gentle reminder that nature does not rush, but harvest is getting closer. 🍇
