A full house for our kids' cooking class: island cuisine at the Alliance Française! 🏝️👨‍🍳👩‍🌺

Romane and Pina taught us a delicious recipe from New Caledonia and French Polynesia: Po'e. We absolutely loved it! ✨

It was a wonderful reminder that a great dessert can be both healthy and nutritious. By focusing on simple, high-quality, local ingredients, we can create the most incredible flavors. 🍌🥥 😋

LET'S COOK SOMETHING DÉLICIEUX FROM THE ISLANDS!

Come and discover the flavours of the Pacific with Romane & Pina.

We’ll be having a fun cooking workshop featuring a traditional New Caledonian recipe: Poe!

This workshop will be held in English, with a few French words introduced to help children discover the language

AGE GROUP?
The workshop is for children between the age of 5 and 11

WHEN?
On Friday, April 17, 3:30–5:00pm

$10 per child – Discounted rate ($5) for the members of the Alliance Française (membership is optional)

So nice to see the Alliance Française de Suva full of kids! 🎉

With the Alliance Française de Suva and Bush Bunny Crafts fj we had a great time trying new flavours, drawing, observing and matching all the different plant parts 🥥🌱🌸

We're super grateful to the fantastic team of volunteers that helped us put together all the delicious and creative activities ...
.. and to the kids (and their parents) that braved the weather and came with their best smiles to play with us.

And how good was the plant-based spread Ginger Kitchen prepared for us! 🍉🍠🧁
