Château Siran is a wine estate with 25 ha located in the Margaux appellation belonging to the same family since 1859. ent de 1855. Les Toulouse-Lautrec, propriétaires sous le Second Empire, étaient légitimistes et n’avaient pas souhaité présenter leur vin. Finalement, en 2003 Château Siran a été reconnu « Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel ». Les vins de Château Siran issus d’un assemblage traditionnel de Cabernet Sauvignon, de Merlot, de Cabernet Franc, se distinguent par un fort pourcentage de Petit Verdot qui apporte à la fois finesse, concentration et surtout une finale épicée, typique du Château Siran. Siran est ouvert à la visite tous les jours à partir du 1er mai au 30 septembre et sur rdv le reste de l’année. At the doorstep of the Médoc, Château Siran enjoys an exceptional terroir, with 25 ha of Margaux in a single-block on the superb siliceous plateau of Labarde. Surrounded by prestigious classified wines, Château Siran is undeniably "the forgotten one" of the 1855 classification. The Toulouse-Lautrec owners during the Second Empire, were legitimists and did not wish to present their wine. Finally, in 2003 Château Siran was recognized as "Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel". Château Siran wines made of a traditional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are distinguished by a high percentage of Petit Verdot which brings both finesse, concentration and, above all, a spicy finale, typical of Château Siran. Siran is open to the visit every day from May 1 to September 30 and upon appointments the rest of the year.
