🍷 Wine of the Week 🍷

Out with the South African, in with the German. Sam’s gone Riesling.

The Raimund Prüm Solitär Trocken 2025 from the Mosel. Trocken means dry, and this one does it properly. Green apple, a bit of sherbet, ripe stone fruit and a clean mineral finish.

Ridiculously good with seafood. £15.75 a bottle, in the bar from tomorrow or available in the shop to take home with a cheeky little discount!

The social team are away this weekend, so we asked Sam to grab some footage of this week’s Wine of the Week. This is what she sent us 🫣😂

Grab some of the Pinotage Rosé while you can, because the next Wine of the Week lands tomorrow and will be ready to drink in the bar or at home from Tuesday.

Delheim Pinotage Rosé 2024

Heatwave number fifty-one calls for rosé, and we’ve gone with a Pinotage.

Fresh, clean, strawberry and deep cherry, with a lovely citrusy finish. Come and have a glass, and there’s a cheeky discount in the shop if you want to take a bottle home.

You’ve caught Sam playing with the glass collection again, but these beauties aren’t just for show.

We hire them out. Party, event, function, corporate or private, we’ve got you covered. Because let’s be honest, most of us don’t have a hundred champagne flutes knocking about at home for that reception.

Glass hire starts from £6 a dozen. We’ll throw in ice buckets too, and we’ll even deliver 🚚

🎃 POTTERY PAINTING IS COMING TO CHESTER! 🎨🍷

We’re so excited to be collaborating with Pickles in Handbridge, Chester for a special Halloween Paint & Sip evening on Thursday 1st October, 7–9pm! 👻

Spaces are limited, so book your place and join us for a cosy, creative autumn evening.

Come along, choose your pottery piece and spend the evening painting, sipping and getting creative.

Think pumpkins, skulls, lanterns, mugs, bowls, autumn leaves, spooky designs , the list is endless ✨

And remember… you absolutely do not need to be “good at art”. It’s all about switching off, enjoying the painting and creating something completely unique.

We’ll provide all the pottery, paints, brushes and everything you need. Once you’ve finished, we’ll take your pieces back to Woodland Creative to glaze and fire them, ready to be returned to you in time for Halloween! 🎃

🍷 Wine of the Week 🍷

Lebanese wine has been a thing for about 5,000 years, so we’re a little late to this one!

Say hello to Blanc de Blanc from (pronounced Oom-see-yat apparently!)

Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Ugni Blanc and a few gatecrashers. Light, crisp and made for weather like this. 🍇☀️
