What a change in the weather!

We have got you covered though now those nights are getting a little darker and after months of eating barbecue and salad, we have the first autumn veggies and fruit in.

All your usual faves, all local, Kale, Cavalo, bunched rainbow and bunch orange carrots, Leeks, squash and many more!.

Plus the protein, free range chicken from wickettsfarmproduce and steaks and venison from Duchy Game.

Did you know we now stock various vickysbread and you can also order in if you have specific bread you would like to see!.

We are delighted to announce the winner of our Invent a Fruit or Veg competition! 🍉🍋🥭

Thank you so much for all of your wonderful entries — we were absolutely spoiled for choice.

Our winner not only invented something we could totally imagine on our shelves, but cleverly gave it a name beginning with Z too!

Congratulations to Lowena, aged 8, for her brilliant Zemolgn! a wonderfully imaginative melon, mango and grape hybrid, growing in grape-like bunches with layers of little mango, grape and melon berries. We think it sounds delicious — and rather beautiful too!

Look at these little beauties!

Straight in from pyskfish into our fridge, lovely Sardines, Hake Fillet, Mackerel and Haddock.

Grab some lovely Cornish potatoes (grown over near Helston), some lovely Tenderstem and one of these packs and you have a delicious dinner, cooks in under 20 minutes and all you need is a pan of boiling water, some butter, slice of lemon and salt and pepper, you can of course embellish with various flavours, but you can’t beat it fresh in flavour.

Pop into see us on Church Street, Falmouth for this and lots of other delicious meal ideas, fruit, panty essentials and a few interesting things you don’t see every day!.

The team at Mr Ragamuffins has been working hard this week to bring you some lovely seasonal treats!.

We are still getting local strawberries, straight from the tunnels, picked and into the shop.

Squash have started, and lovely local courgettes are in full swing!.

We have the usual great selection of flowers from flowersbyclowance, game from Duchy Game, free range chicken from wickettsfarmproduce and outstanding free roam eggs from cornhillfarm, we also have local duck, quail and guinea fowl eggs in.

Don’t forget from tomorrow we will also stock vickysbread.

Please note Church Street car park is now back in operation as usual after Falmouth week, usual restrictions apply, but get into town before 11am and you can park there and leave at any time, a little bit of shopping supporting all the great independent shops and then a spot of lunch!.

Good news incoming!.

Mrs R has finally managed to get some nice bread in for all those asking since Baker Toms closed opposite us!.

We have used Vicky’s for the last 3 years in the cafe and the feedback has always been fantastic.

Anyway, pop in from Saturday to grab a lovely loaf of Vicky’s bread.

We will have limited numbers to start with until we can get the levels of stock to meet all the demands and keep as fresh as possible.
