Kingsthorne W**e Estate will be open for THREE days of Christmas festivities — and our motorhome and campervan visitors are welcome to make a whole weekend of it!

Friday 4th–Sunday 6th December 2026
Stay Friday, Saturday AND Sunday night, heading home on Monday!

Your overnight parking is FREE when you join us for drinks at Finn W**e House each evening. 🥂

You’ll have your own reserved parking area for motorhomes and campervans, just a stone’s throw from everything happening across the weekend…

🌲Different food vendors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
🌲Desserts for those with a sweet tooth

Wander over, soak up the atmosphere, enjoy something delicious and settle in for the evening — with your own bed just a short stroll away.

And when morning comes, there’s a whole corner of Gloucestershire to explore. Pull on your boots for countryside and woodland walks around Flaxley, or take a trip out into the Forest of Dean. Discover the sculptures at Beechenhurst, enjoy a lakeside stroll at Mallards Pike or explore local history at the Dean Heritage Centre. Then head back to Kingsthorne for another helping of Christmas!

Something deliciously spooky is coming to Kingsthorne W**e Estate this Friday 30th October!

Join us at the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 in Flaxley for an evening of Italian flavours, autumn warmth and Halloween fun, right here in the Forest of Dean.

Make an afternoon of it with a wander through our autumnal vineyards and woodlands before settling into the W**e House from 5 p.m. Our 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲 will be making its Finn W**e House debut—a steaming, fragrant welcome to the season and the perfect companion for a crisp October evening.

Bring your appetite, too! Little Sicily by Papà Fab joins us as our guest kitchen from 5–8 p.m., bringing 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 to make your Friday evening even more irresistible.

Inside, keep an eye out for frightening faces and eerily realistic props dotted around the W**e House! There’ll be simple 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻, and fancy dress is very welcome—we’ll be joining in too. Bring the family, bring the dog and enjoy an evening with a little extra Halloween spirit.

A special welcome to our motorhome and campervan guests, especially everyone who has already told us they’re coming—we’re super excited to share the evening with you! Enjoy a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 when visiting the W**e House. Arrival times are super flexible, 3pm as standard and earlier on request. Toilets available throughout the night, and water taps in the courtyard. A quick PM to let us know you’re coming would be great, but isn’t essential.

Little Sicily by Papa Fab is bringing a seriously tempting taste of Italy to the Finn W**e House at Kingsthorne W**e Estate, Flaxley.

Think focaccia filled with golden, crisp breaded chicken, rich marinara sauce and melted mozzarella, finished with fragrant fresh basil. Or sink your teeth into tender beef meatballs, smothered in tomato sauce beneath an irresistible blanket of melting cheese.

Prefer something a little lighter? Discover delicate slices of prosciutto with fresh mozzarella, peppery rocket, Parmesan, olive oil and balsamic. And the breaded aubergine deserves its moment too: choose a fresh salad finish or indulge in the glorious combination of marinara and mozzarella.

Then there are the extras you’ll find very difficult to resist: golden skin-on fries, garlic Parmesan fries, classic Sicilian arancini and generous temptation in the shape of a traditional square slice of Margherita pizza.

Save room for something sweet. Will it be Mamma’s tiramisu, a bright lemon twist with the Lemonmisu, or crisp cannoli shells filled with sweet, creamy ricotta?

Add a glass of our award-winning English w**e, settle into the welcoming surroundings of the Finn W**e House and make an evening of it.

Make a day of it this Halloween Friday! Arrive before 5 p.m. to wander through our autumnal vineyards and woodlands, soak up the views and enjoy some fresh air with the family—dogs included!

Then step inside the Finn W**e House from 5 p.m., where frightening faces and eerily realistic ghouls await around every corner! Warm up with steaming homemade mulled w**e while the children enjoy simple creative activities, then settle in for delicious Italian food from our guest kitchen Little Sicily by Papà Fab.

Come in fancy dress if you dare—we’ll be joining in too! Open until 11 p.m.

Something deliciously wicked is coming to Kingsthorne…

Join us on Friday 30th October for a Halloween evening of frighteningly good food, warming drinks and a few characters you certainly wouldn’t want to meet alone in the vineyard.

The Finn W**e House will be dressed for the occasion, with realistic spooky scenes and an assortment of unsettling guests. Our staff will be dressed to impress—or distress—and we’d love you to join them. Fancy dress is very welcome.

Keeping the chills firmly outside your glass, Peter will be serving his homemade hot mulled w**e and c***r. Fragrant, warming and utterly spellbinding, these delicious autumn favourites are a little magic of his own making.

Our guest kitchen, Little Sicily by Papà Fab, will be serving delicious Italian food from 5–8pm. Come hungry… being haunted is hungry work.

Children are very welcome, including brave little souls who enjoy a spooky setting. Some props are rather realistic.

Making a night of it? Motorhomes and campervans are welcome to stay overnight free of charge when visiting the W**e House, with arrival from 3pm and toilets available throughout the night. Booking isn’t essential, although a quick PM to let us know you’re coming would be great.
