On Sunday, we hosted our annual St Julia’s fundraiser at the pub. ❤️
What a great day we had!
I’ve done a bit of a strange reel for you all and left in the original audio because so many people gave up their time to be part of the day, it didn’t feel right to put a different song over the top.
The day started with some of our regulars taking part in a cycle ride from the pub to St Julia’s and back. They were met with open arms (and lots of mid-way snacks!) at the hospice. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️
When they returned, the entertainment started! 🎶
We are so grateful to everyone who gave up their time for free to entertain us and help raise money for such a great cause, one that is so close to many people’s hearts.

The cycle ride alone raised an incredible £2,000, and thanks to everyone who continued fundraising in the pub, including our raffle, we pushed the total up to an amazing £3,027! 🎉
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, gave up their time to provide music, donated raffle prizes, helped organise the day or sold tickets.
It really was a fantastic day and, more than anything, a brilliant reminder of what our community is all about. ❤️❤️❤️
