We’re looking for a new Trade Sales Manager (Wine & Spirits) to join the team at Ludlow Distillery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with independent pubs, restaurants, hotels and retailers, and helping grow an ambitious independent drinks business.

The role covers both our award-winning spirits and our established trade wine business, together with exciting opportunities in contract distilling and private-label production.

Today, Ludlow Distillery’s founder, Shaun Ward, was admitted as a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Distillers at Ironmongers’ Hall in the City of London.

Following the ancient tradition, Shaun took the Oath of a Freeman, joining a Company that has championed the art and craft of distilling for centuries. One of the more memorable parts of the oath promises to “conceal and keep all the lawful Secrets of the Trade, Art and Mystery of Distillers…” — so don’t expect the recipes for Ludlow’s award-winning gins, whisky or liqueurs to be appearing anytime soon!

It was an honour to be sworn in alongside fellow members of the English Whisky Guild, Tagore Ramoutar and Alasdair “Eddie” Large, and in the presence of the Company’s Master, Daniel Szor.

A proud milestone, both personally and for everyone at Ludlow Distillery, as we continue to celebrate and contribute to Britain’s rich distilling heritage.

We're looking for someone to join our Retail & Tourism Team at Ludlow Distillery on a part-time, casual basis.
The role is mainly weekends, with some weekday shifts available to cover holidays and busy periods.

It’s hotter than any of us want it to be! Luckily we have a steady supply of cold brew coffee, used to make our fabulous espresso martini. And thanks to Ludlow Brewery we have glasses big enough for a satisfying amount!

Today is World Gin Day, the sun is shining, almost as if preordained that gin should be drunk in gardens across the world. If you are unsure which of our many, many gins you should be drinking today, then pop on down to the distillery on site at Ludlow Farmshop and have a few free samples to decide which one best suits your junipery desires this auspicious day!
