Farm Shop, Café and PYO open Monday-Sunday from 8am

Explore our 45 acres of PYO fields, and our well-stocked farm shop for a relaxed day out in the countryside. We have a brand new adventure playground and plenty of green space for children to explore while you enjoy a hot coffee and something freshly baked and local from the Tractor Shack Café. Fill your punnets with strawberries and raspberries in the summer months and then head for our colourful

vegetable patch to pick trays full of broad beans, sweetcorn and courgettes. Pop into our flower fields for a bright bunch of gladioli or sunflowers to take home, and after a blissful morning of fruit & vegetable picking, enjoy a fresh lunch of seasonal produce from our café, on our benches in the sunshine. Finish the day in the farm shop, stocking up on freshly baked bread (delivered daily), honey from our very own bees and lots of locally-sourced treats from small suppliers whose values match our own.

Farmer Richard has had many sleepless nights keeping these pumpkins watered during the summer drought of 2026 ☀️🎃🌦️🫩.

He was very pleased to see the first few rain showers come in last week so he could take a few hours break from watering potatoes 🥔, sweetcorn 🌽 and pumpkins 🎃 on rotation. Here are a few of the 45 varieties we have grown on the farm this summer!

No need to worry about rain at the Pumpkin Patch this year as we have two undercover spaces, our Event Tunnel is back with all your favourite games 🎯. Plus NEW for 2026 our Music Marquee 🎪, our bands will be playing live undercover with plenty of seating to enjoy a delicious lunch from Jojo’s dough on the go Fink Street Food and our churros or crepe van 🥞.

Spot the difference 🌽!

The first picture is our new Mielie Sweetcorn that you can pick this weekend and the second is just our standard Yellow Sweetcorn.

How do they differ? The Mielie is more savoury in taste, harder in texture, slightly paler or almost white in colour and takes longer to cook.

Both can be picked and are on our special discount all weekend, 3 cobs for £1.20 to celebrate the end of summer, long weekend, sweetcorn and possible rain 🌦️!

On Bank Holiday Monday we will have free tractor 🚜 and trailer rides, Darren Hillier with us 10-12pm and sweetcorn on the BBQ 🧑‍🍳.

Join us all weekend to celebrate this wonderful veg especially when picked and eaten the same day.

The rain has arrived ☔️🌦️🙌

We had a little sprinkle of rain this morning which has pleased Farmer Richard a lot, this helps with our sweetcorn, pumpkin and potatoes which are still growing 🥔.

We have our sweetcorn fest this Bank Holiday Monday, celebrate the end of a hot and dry summer with us. This is a free event no tickets 🌽.

Our Pumpkin Patch is open every weekend and all through half-term in October, book tickets online now 🎃.

It's nearly September!

While we don't want to wish away the summer, inevitably our thoughts are turning to the month of October and our Pumpkin Patch.
Our pumpkins & squashes have been growing steadily since they were planted back in the spring, and this year we've got 45 varieties for you to choose from!

Tickets for our fabulous Pumpkin Patch are already on sale and we know the mid-morning weekends in October can be really popular, so grab your tickets in advance to get your preferred slot and start looking forward to a fabulous family day out! 🎃

Join us for our vintage ploughing match this weekend (22nd-23rd August).

Plus we will be running FREE tractor and trailer rides in the field both days.

The event will be held in Jackson’s field (what three words: lease.train.bugs) where you can park, or just park at the shop and café and walk up. Our café will be open for refreshments.

SATURDAY - PLOUGHING PRACTICE
10am – 2.30pm ploughing.
11am – How to plough masterclass (15 minutes).
10am – 2.30pm look at the tractors and chat to the drivers.
2pm – How to plough masterclass (15 minutes).

SUNDAY - PLOUGHING MATCH
10am – 2.30pm Ploughing with breaks where the judges will be looking at the quality of the ploughing.
11am & 2pm – How to plough masterclass (15 minutes).
