Massive congratulations to Henry, Lynette and Jamie who smashed the Hook 10k today and Pippa and Charlotte who completed the Hook Fun Run! 🙌🏼🥇🏃🏼‍♀️

It was brilliant to cheer on all the runners today and we hope the 10 mile athletes enjoyed their new route past the ! Huge thanks to the team and volunteers for a great day 👏🏼

We are off for a well earned beer and burger now!

And suddenly, it’s the end of March! What a busy month it’s been. Our main focus at this time of year is preparing the crops and getting ready for lambing season. And it looks like we’ve got a busy Easter weekend ahead! This sunshine calls for a trip to the baaaaaaaaar…. 😂

Trying to see the funny side of poor dog management… A dog spooked our 4 rams this morning which caused them to break loose around the village.

We start lambing soon too so we beg that you keep your dogs on a lead when out walking in the country at this time of year 🐑

The 1st of the month also now marks our new little feature, “What the farmer did…” We thought it might be nice to share what we get up to around the farm when we’re not knee deep in sunflowers or pumpkins!
