Happy Lohri! 🔥

Lohri is a festival celebrated commonly in Punjab, marking the end of winter months and the forthcoming arrival of warmer weather

Lohri rituals involve lighting a bonfire (or in our case, a wood fire in our barbecue!) and throwing offerings into the fire such as corn, nuts and seeds

Dahi Bhalla (Dahi Vada)

We hope you are enjoying this lovely summer heat! During warm weather we love to eat dahi balla - deep fries lentil fritters topped with dhai (yoghurt) and a variety of sweet and spicy chutney, finished off with some pomegranate and coriander.

It is a populat street food in India but also frequently made and enjoyed at home
