Few words from Jason

So the time is come, we have ceased trading as Kam Ling, unfortunately due old age, health, rocketing bills, stock prices, we can not to continue to cook for you.

This has truly been a family business serving food for generations of your family, by our family; from my wife and I, to our two sons who served, and delivered to you.

We would like to personally thank everyone we have ever fed, it just not possible to do that.

📢 Its the end of an ERA! 📢

Kam Ling will open for a final time on Sunday 26th Febuary. After almost 40 years it has sadly become economically unviable for Jason and his wife to continue serving freshly prepared food. The increased cost of living has hit our industry hard, and £5,000 gas bills are just the final straw! So Jason has decided to call it time at the end of February.

Our family will be taking a much needed break. We would like to thank all our loyal customers for sticking with us despite the lack of a credit card machine!;-)😢😢

After deliberating we will stay open for the remainder of this year! and make a decision on Kam ling future in 2023

📢 Kam Ling Announcement 📢

After 40+ years, Kam Ling, with great regret and sadness we will be ceasing trading, within the next month.

Our decision has not been taken lightly and many factors have contributed to our decisions;

Firstly the chefs are not getting any younger, and have been struggling with long covid symptoms.

Secondly, the unscrupulous gas (Maxam) and electric (Valda energy) companies, hiking the prices to unmanageable weekly costs.

Thirdly, with high produce overheads such as meat veg, flour and oil prices rising we can not keep our prices competitive.

The exact date of the closure has not been confirmed, we will notify you via FB or in the shop.

We have served multiple generations, new and old customers, and we are fond of everyone we have met along our long journey.

Like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your continued custom during these 40+ years. It has been a pleasure to cook for you. More details to follow
