Every year I forget how quickly the turkey 🦃 poults grow. 🙈

They will be 2 weeks old on Monday and the brooder ring is down and the bigger drinkers and feeders added and they are enjoying all the extra space to run around.

Can you believe it’s that time of the year already!

The turkeys 🦃 arrived last night and are settling in really well. Lots of bursts of energy and eating then plenty of sleeping too!

❤️🇮🇹💗 Family Time ❤️🇮🇹💗

Being a farming family, it isn’t easy to get away for longer than a few days. But last year we made a conscious decision to change that and we have just come back from an amazing trip to the Amalfi coast🇮🇹.

There were lots of firsts for the children, their first time on a plane ✈️, to another country and experiencing a different culture. It was really eye opening for them to see how other people live, eat their delicious food and see their spectacular scenery.

Now it’s back to reality with a busy season ahead at Ledmacoy Shepherds Huts, silage time and preparing for our turkey 🦃 poults to arrive next week.

Come to our farm in Strathdon today between 10am till 4:30pm to buy your free range turkey 🦃 for Easter. We have turkey joint boxes, crowns and burgers 🍔 available. DM to order or if you have any questions.

Great to see the children from Tough School enjoying their turkeys 🦃 burgers 🍔. It was a pleasure having them visit the farm last year and see how we rear our turkeys 🦃.

When you have to dig yourself out before you can go farming🙈. Farmer Ian is going to have another busy day making sure all the cows 🐄 and sheep 🐑 are feed/watered and okay 👌.
