🐑 DEVER GLORIA – EWE LAMB FOR SALE 🐑

A very smart and showy ewe lamb from the Dever flock, with plenty of character and presence. ✨

🏆 Reserve Champion at her first show Kent county
🏅 4th – Interbreed Pairs Class at Kent County
3rd place Mid Devon and Edenbridge and Oxted

Gloria has a lovely showy head and bags of character, combined with great confirmation . She is halter trained and has all the attributes to make a cracking shearling for showing next year and a valuable addition to a breeding flock.

I do not normally sell any ewe lambs that have been produced by Teme zola but I need to keep some different bloodlines from my other ewe lambs.

Then Monday was time for the Interbreed classes, and what a result! 🤩 We were incredibly proud to come away with Overall Interbreed Group of Three Champion, chosen from a very large amount of different breeds. A very special result and one we are absolutely delighted with! 🏆❤️

✨ What a day at the National Ryeland Show & Sale! ✨

Myself Cottage Ryelands and Blackwood Coloured Ryelandsare absolutely thrilled to have purchased Snelson Earl Grey, who was made Overall Coloured Ryeland Champion! 🏆🐏

We honestly couldn’t be happier with him — what an incredible ram! 🤎

A huge thank you to everyone involved at Ryeland Flock Book Societyin making such a fantastic day, and especially to Michele Varmen for entrusting us with this very special boy.

We’re so excited for what the future holds for Earl Grey and can’t wait to see what he brings to both our flocks. 🐏✨

Meet Gordon Ram-say 👨‍🍳🐑

“The only thing he cooks is the competition.” 😏🏆

Gordon is by Dever Custard, who certainly had a busy year also producing a set of triplets like her mother! He’s already off to a great start, winning his ram lamb class at his very first show of the season. 🥇

Unlike his half-sister Gloria, who likes to keep us on our toes with her sweet but spicy personality, Gordon is the definition of cool, calm and collected.

A laid-back lad with plenty of style… and hopefully he’s only just getting started. 🤎🐑

⭐️Meet the team ⭐️

Dever Gloria - Sweet but Spicy 🌶️

Gloria is the final ewe lamb from the queen herself, Teme Zola 👸🏼 – the ewe who kick-started my showing journey. ❤️

After deciding that producing three enormous triplets this year was enough to earn a well-deserved retirement, Zola has joined the group of retired ewes happy grazing the river meadows.

And it clearly runs in the family, as Zola’s daughter Custard also had triplets this year — one of which is a Dever Gordon Ram-say who I’ll be introducing very soon. 🐑🐑

Thankfully, Zola has gone out with a bang by leaving me with Gloria, who has already been making her mum proud by taking Reserve Champion at a county show. 🏆

What a fantastic start to the 2026 show season for Dever Coloured Ryelands 🥳🐑

I am absolutely thrilled with our results after an amazing three days at Kent County Show!

🏅 Results:
🥇 1st – Shearling Ram – Dever Fernando
🥈 2nd – Shearling Ram – Dever Fergus
🥇 1st – Ram Lamb – Dever Gordon Ramsay
🥇 1st – Shearling Ewe – Dever Fizz
🥇 1st – Ewe Lamb – Dever Gloria
🥇 1st – Group of Three

🏆 Breed Champion – Dever Fernando
🏆 Reserve Breed Champion – Dever Gloria

I was also delighted to achieve 4th place in the Interbreed Pairs with our ram lamb and ewe lamb.

To top it all off, we were incredibly proud to be pulled forward into the final six for the Overall Supreme Champion of the Show across all breeds, as well as being pulled forward in the Interbreed Group of Three. What an honour!

A huge thank you to our Coloured Ryeland judge, Jonathan Webb, for travelling such a long way to judge the South East Group. We really appreciate your time and expertise. ❤️

Finally, a massive thank you to my amazing team of helpers Jemima Liddiard, Tilly Liddiard and Fiona Liddiard. I couldn’t have done it without you all. Congratulations on your own success in the show ring this weekend too! 🥳❤️

Smart ewe lamb by Dever Eliza Doolittle 🤍

My competition ewe from last year — and she’s grown a sassy little mini me queen 👑

Sadly, Eliza lost her other ewe lamb a few weeks ago to pulpy kidney. Even with vaccination, these things can happen so suddenly and it’s never easy 💔

It always seem the to be the strong, beautiful lambs, and I’m so grateful to still have this one. Fingers crossed we’ll be taking this girl out into the show ring later this year along with her mum Eliza ✨❤️
