Christmas it's such a hectic time for everyone, it's easy to forget something & be at a loss to know where and what to buy last minute.

Had a very busy four or was it five! Days; visitors brought gifts reminding us that it wld be our wedding anniversary..I was staggered at the yrs but they were right!
Celebrations, if any, wld be for being alive, well and fit - well most if the time! & for surviving traumas that all too often drive couples apart.. For having 3 sons who care, share time & visit..who include us, the elders, in times & on occasions shared with their friends who bring another aspect to put. lives

For 3 lovely dinlaw, for 5 beautiful talented granddaughters, scattered across the country and on the other side of the world..it has been a privilege to share their lives, the ups and downs, the joy of graduations, of engagements, to witness their success in their workplace, to know that between us all we are not a bad bunch of folk.

Hello my Next door neighbours.
Spring seems to be here and everything is coming into bud and flower, promising a good display of blooms & fruit.
I am wondering if you grow soft fruit and often have a glut that you don't know what to do with.
I wld be happy to purchase any you cannot use. If you wld prefer to receive yr produce in a jar that too can be agreed.
Damsons for instance are so difficult to find, they grow well in Hampshire but more often than not, folk don't know what to do with them. Momo does.
They make the most delicious jam & Chutney.

While the majority of my award winning Marmalade is made with Organic fruit. Fruit & Veg for Jam & Chutney is sourced from local growers.
It will be a contest twixt me and the birds! when it's time to harvest the few fruits we grow.
So I have been raiding the deep freeze and gathering up fruit to make a variety of Jam. So far Damson, Greengage & Almond,
Summer fruit is made and labelled ready for sale. Blackberry & Apple on the schedule tomorrow.
I'm sure I have some Organic Apricots in the freezer too.
Next week I will hopefully be able to buy a lg quantity of Strawberries. Sweet Eve is my go to in Strawberries. Grown in Hampshire they make the most delicious Jam.

Made with Organic Mango from Spain which gets delivered to my door. Also out of the dark is Fiery Bengal Chutney. It's really good & has a long shelf life.

Have you tried the SIlver Award Queen Marmalade. Queen Fruit the grower states is a natural cross between two fruits.
I entered it into the World Marmalade Competition and do delighted to be awarded SILVER Award. Comments received so far tell me it's "really delicious" "Oh, it's so good". "It's a lovely Marmalade, we love it" "Have you got a Large one please?". Thank you all you wonderful supporters. You all give me such joy when we meet and talk at Romsey Country Market. You encourage me to continue to explore new flavours.

Spring shopping evening at Braishfield Village Hall. Award winning preserves to taste. Chutney, Jams - Relishes too.
Gluten Free cakes you probably don't bake at home. Biscuits that you wldnt know are Gluten Free but they are.
