Colaba Canteen is trying to bring that Bombay café vibe to Chandigarh, and the space really does feel like an old Parsi Irani café.

The menu is full of Mumbai street food, Parsi dishes, and comfort meals.

What worked really well
Pav bhaji was buttery, balanced, and the pav was perfect.
Raspberry soda was refreshing and one of the best things on the table.
Sanju Baba chicken dabba meal was the highlight. Great flavour, well-cooked chicken, and something worth going back for.
Aloo thecha kulcha was crisp, spicy, and very satisfying.
Berry pulao was comforting, with well-cooked mutton.

What didn’t work —
Avocado galouti can be skipped.

For dessert, Parsi falooda works better than the khurchan.

Overall, a solid place for comfort food in Chandigarh. Good flavours, good variety, and a menu that has something for everyone.
