d with lack of awareness of benefits of chicken consumption in Nepal. The Ghimire-Rawal-Bindukar trio therefore relentlessly focused on building consumer confidence and Valley Cold Store opened it’s doors to buyers whereby one was able to visit the stores and choose their fresh chicken, get it weighed and dressed transparently as against the old concept of getting pre-cut and pre-dressed pieces. This concept of transparent weighing and dressing was introduced for the first time in Nepal and went on to revolutionize and drive the growth in poultry industry as we know it today. From selling 13 Kgs on it’s first day of opening to becoming a household name today in Nepal’s poultry industry, Valley Cold Store was able to embark on this journey with the help of it’s customers, channel partners and other stakeholders and continues to grow exponentially today. Besides household sales, Valley Cold Store is also the leading supplier of meat products to National as well as International hotel chains and reputed restaurants today.
