Good thing the Kobelco got the memo too, Kobelco New Zealand

Don't take our word for it, take theirs ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good service doesn't happen on its own.

It happens because our customers trust us with their jobs, and give us a call when things go sideways 📞

Here's what a few of them had to say 👉

I guess you could call us a machinery Uber 🚚

Why?

Because we don't just shift our gear. We shift yours too.

Today's passenger? A WABCO 101F motor scraper, loaded up and heading to a job in Eastern Beach 🏖️

Doesn't matter if it's big, heavy or three hours away. If it needs to get to site, we'll get it there.

Our transporters are always on the road, so give us a call if you need your gear shifted 👇

The only thing more divisive than CAT vs Komatsu? Pineapple on pizza 🍍

So naturally, it decided our final "Smoko’s On Us" winner.

We split every September hire into equal groups at random, asked the team a few questions, and let their answers decide which groups stayed in. Same chance for every hire.

It all came down to the last one… "pineapple on pizza?"

Alistair? Pro pineapple. No hesitation!

His answer determined the final winner 🥁
Congratulations to Jade Rainer from Direct Drains Ltd! Smoko for your whole site is on us 🥧

We hope you like pineapple on pizza too!

Thanks to everyone who hired with us in September ✈️

Stubborn ground? Meet something more stubborn 🔨🪨

When the bucket's done asking nicely, it's time to bring out the rock breaker.

Rock, concrete, hard ground.

Whatever's holding the job up, sometimes you've just got to break through it.

Because changing the plans around the stubborn stuff?

Yeah… we'd rather break the rock 😎

We take looking after our machines seriously.

But just like you, they need a bit of fun too 🌊

So this Komatsu packed up and headed off on a little tiki tour around the Auckland Gulf.

We thought it needed a holiday… turns out this thing can't go anywhere without getting stuck into the thick of it

Later, it was seen drilling piles for three new boatsheds. Apparently it didn't get the memo about taking time off.

P.S. If you want this hard working 14T on your site, just call us! 📞 0800 PRONTO (77 66 86)

Meet Roxy 👋
(Or maybe you've already met her on the phone? 📞)

Either way, there's more to know about Roxy, who's just joined our Customer Service team. She brings experience across customer service, sales, admin and even a bit of the hire industry.

Now she's building on that by getting to know the Pronto fleet even better 🚜 The more she knows about the gear, the quicker she can help you find the right machine for the job, answer your questions and get your hire sorted.

Great service is what drew her to the role, and she's keen to see where it takes her.

Outside of work, Roxy's a dancer at heart 💃 If there's a live show on, chances are she's either on stage or in the crowd.

She's also a massive animal lover, cats especially 🐱, and spent 7+ years volunteering with NZCF as a way of giving back.

So next time you call 0800 PRONTO, you may just hear from Roxy!

Sand, sun, cicadas, vegetable gardens…
All the usual signs that summer's coming ☀️

No doubt you're all looking forward to that summer break. Hate to bring the mood down, but… did you forget about the dust?

Because it hasn't forgotten about you.

Dry haul roads, dry stockpiles, dry cuts, and a southerly that turns your site into someone else's problem two streets over.

So while you're counting down to the break, we're counting water carts out the gate 🚚

Years of experience? Plenty.

Years of age? That varies 😂

Some of the team have been clocking in since before they could count 👶

That’s why when you call 0800 PRONTO, you’re talking to people who know the gear, know the jobs, and know exactly what’ll keep your project moving.

Experience beyond their years. Literally.

The job might only take a day. Fixing the lawn afterwards might take a little longer😬

Getting a digger, skid steer or truck where it needs to go can get messy when the only way in is across grass, soft ground or a finished surface.

That's when we'd recommend track mats:

protect the surface underneath
reduce ruts and ground damage
improve access across soft ground
keep machinery moving without turning the place into a mud pit

Because finishing the job only to create another one isnt ideal.

Got a job with tricky access? Ask us about adding ground protection mats to your hire 👇
