Auckland's newest waterfall.

One day only.

After that it becomes a pool and nobody makes a fuss about it ever again.

Fill day is quietly the best day on any build. The hole finally stops being a hole.

Everyone finds a reason to stand around and watch it happen. Including the digger driver, who has seen it a hundred times. 💦

Every Sapphire Blue pool starts out a very convincing shade of brown.

There’s a fair bit of digging before the sparkling-water part.

For now, it’s dirt, machinery and the neighbours wondering what’s going on.

This is the behind-the-scenes part of a pool install that most people don’t see.

The digging.

The crane.

The prep work.
