Will puts one of Bordeaux’s leading w**e figures in the hot seat… 🍷

During his recent trip through France, Will caught up with Édouard Moueix for a quick round of This or That.

Édouard is a third-generation w**emaker from the legendary Moueix family, behind some of the Right
Bank’s renowned estates, including Château La Fleur-Pétrus, Château Trotanoy and Château Bélair-Monange.

Before there is Calvados, there are the orchards.

In the heart of the Pays d’Auge, harvest is just around the corner at Château du Breuil, where nearly 22,000 apple trees grow across 42 hectares.

Soon, the apples will be picked and brought to the distillery, beginning their journey from fruit, to c***r, and eventually to Calvados.

A beautiful reminder that what we enjoy in the glass begins long before the bottle, among the orchards, the fruit and the seasons.

Calvados is Normandy’s celebrated apple brandy, made by distilling c***r and ageing the spirit in oak.

From a refreshing Norman Mule to an Espresso Martini or a Strudel Spritz, Calvados brings a French twist to a cocktail. Which one would you like to make?
