We use ultrasound scanning to measure IMF, rib fat, EMA and P8 in selecting our breeding stock. Select drench policy. We breed from those animals who have not needed drench. ing follow this trait. Six week mating interval with the bull, including after calving to ensure we breed for high fertility. Artificial insemination is used alongside natural mating. Our cattle are well suited to organic and low input farming methods. Visitors are welcome to view Charles, the young bulls and the female herd and tour the farm by appointment.
