Many of you have been asking why we haven't been active in Christchurch for a while after such a successful launch last year.
Well, it's been real hard to write something like this, and we acknowledge it's taken some time to share the reason behind our absence and pay a long-overdue public tribute to a very special man.

Nearly a year ago, we suddenly lost our dear friend and local 3 Monkeys business owner, Peter Connelly.
Pete and his wife Jan were the heart and soul behind building the 3 Monkeys Kettle Corn brand in the South Island.
Together, they created a huge success, winning over many "Monkey fans" with Pete’s hard work and infectious spirit.
Pete was so looking forward to his "retirement" by growing this business alongside Jan and their daughter Maggie.

For us, Pete wasn't just a business partner; he was Aaron's good mate for over 35 years, the Best Man at our wedding, and sadly he left us all too soon with a massive hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

While our market presence has changed, Pete’s hard work lives on.
He established a fantastic wholesale network that we are proud to continue, still supplying two iconic South Island locations:
Fresh Choice Merivale and Pegasus Bay Winery.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with kind words and questions.
We appreciate your patience and support as we navigate through this difficult time with his family.
We miss you every day buddy 💚

This Saturday 25th April, ANZAC Day, 1pm to 5pm, Selwyn Park, next to Te Awamutu isite Information & Visitor Centre

We are looking forward to this special market in the afternoon on Saturday

Over 80+ craft stalls 🧶🎨,
Yummy food trucks 🍔🌭
Entertainment 🎶🎸🎤
Toys for children to play with 🛝🚂
Unicorn pony rides 🦄 🐴
Sausage sizzle raising funds for Info Centre 🌭

It will be a family fun day with Te Awamutu Toy Library providing toys for children in a play area and the Unicorn pony rides

We are working with Te Awamutu RSA for this special ANZAC Day market, 1pm to 5pm, at Selwyn Park, 1 Gorst Avenue, Te Awamutu - oppsite the Rose Gardens and next to Te Awamutu isite Information & Visitor Centre, which is open for cash out, gifts, drinks, ice creams and usual services 😁

Te Awamutu’s largest local craft market, with New Zealand made items and produce, all lovingly prepared. 80+ stalls, food vans and entertainment, there is something for everyone

The funds raised from this market will be donated to Te Awamutu RSA and Te Awamutu isite Information & Visitor Centre, to keep it open (they no longer receive council funding)

Well behaved dogs are welcome on a lead
No smoking or va**ng on site
