The colostrum cow is often the most underfed cow on farm.

Freshly calved cows face huge energy demands, and colostrum production alone requires significant energy input. When intake can't keep pace, cows fall into negative energy balance, which can affect health and production down the line.

Matching energy input to demand early on helps cows recover faster and perform better through lactation.

Two minerals, one job: keeping your herd steady through calving.

Liqui Pro™ Calcium & Magnesium combines molasses with both minerals, targeting 18 grams of elemental magnesium and 50 grams of elemental calcium per cow. It supports muscle activity while helping reduce the risk of milk fever and grass staggers. Fed at 1kg per head per day.

Cover both bases with one simple feed.

Seeing more down cows this calving season?

Milk fever rates can spike for a couple of key reasons, and it often comes down to calcium and magnesium balance in the lead-up to calving. Getting mineral supplementation right before calving is one of the simplest ways to reduce risk.

A bit of prevention now saves a lot of hassle (and vet bills) later.

The first three months of lactation set the tone for the whole season.

Early lactation brings its own set of challenges as cows ramp up production while still recovering from calving. Getting feed and nutrition right during this window helps cows hit their stride and hold condition.

Nail early lactation and the rest of the season gets a whole lot easier.

Ever wondered what a busy day at our Waharoa Feed site looks like?

The time-lapse captures a busy day at Waharoa on 3 August with trucks in and out. It’s a good reminder of the scale we're operating at and the investment that goes into keeping farmers supplied when they need it most.

What if you could see exactly where your herd's production is heading?

Tracker™ pulls in real-time milk data and overlays it against your feed inputs, so you can track feed conversion and margins as the season unfolds.

Fact-based decisions, made easier.

Every strong herd starts with a strong calf.

Rearing healthy, well-grown heifers now sets the stage for a productive herd down the track. Daily protein and energy intake in those early weeks drives lifetime milk production, so getting rumen development right from day one matters.

PRO START™ is designed to stimulate rumen growth and support a healthy microbiome.

Give your calves the best start and you're setting up your herd's future.

Liqui Pro™ Magnesium combines molasses with added magnesium, targeting 18 grams of elemental magnesium per cow to help reduce the risk of milk fever and grass staggers. Simple to feed at 1kg per head per day.

Post-calving nutrition can make or break your whole season.

For Stewart Anderson, one of New Zealand's top breeding farms, getting energy levels right at this time of year isn't optional, it's essential. With genetics this good, feeding has to work just as hard.

Our technical team sat down with Stewart and Catherine ahead of calving to plan around what the herd needed, looking at history, protein, energy and condition on farm. Using real time data from Tracker™, we tailored a feed blend to match, so every mouthful works harder for the herd.

The result? A herd that's performing the way its genetics deserve, and a farmer who's got the insights to back every decision.
