𝗟𝗔𝗪𝗪𝗔𝗟 𝘅 𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗘𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗢-𝗘𝗧

When we visited Australia’s International Dairy Week in 2024, View Fort Jagger Satin EX-93 was one of the cows that immediately caught our attention.

Almost 2 years later, we returned to Australia to visit breeders and attend the Lightning Ridge, Defining A Decade Sale, where we had the opportunity to admire Satin once again before she sold for $54,000.

Earlier this year, while catching up with Andy Cullen, we learned that Avonlea Holsteins had a granddaughter of Jagger Satin by Tatoo, her dam a VG86 2yr Sidekick who also has an exciting future ahead. Before long, a partnership was agreed upon, and we were incredibly fortunate to secure a half share in this exciting heifer.

The plan is to have Avonlea Satin Tatoo-ET at a flush centre in the near future, with the goal of establishing the Satin family at Lawwal.

We're thrilled to be working alongside the team at Avonlea Holsteins, three-time Master Breeders. A special thank you to John, Luke, and the entire family - we're excited about what the future holds.

Hi everyone,

Lawwal is incredibly humbled by the support we received this past Friday.

Our “Land at Lawwal” sale achieved an average of $12,330 - an Australasian record for a single Vendor Sale.

Thank you to all the purchasers for backing our breeding program; your support means a great deal to us.

We’re also proud to share that Lot 50: Pick of the Lambda’s raised $16,000 for the Starship Foundation.

We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make “Land at Lawwal” such a memorable day - our on and off-farm team, Carrfields NZ, Dairy Livestock Services, bidr, the fitting crew, purchasers, family, allies, and friends.

A special mention to Brian Leslie and Tim and Sharyn Abbott. It has been an honour to work alongside people who show such passion and dedication to their craft - something we at Lawwal truly aspire to do.
