This is 'Horse': a ewe we nicknamed because she was head and shoulders above any of the other ewes. This year she was scanned as bearing triplets. As you can see she delivered FOUR big, healthy lambs, unassisted on Thursday.

We have since taken the decision to take the smallest lamb off her. This was for her sake as she has enough on her plate feeding three lambs. Also removing the smallest one, who wasn't competing well with his siblings for mum's supply of milk, gives this lamb the best chance of developing well as a bottle fed lamb.
