Maui backs sheep milk farmers with higher payout.

We’re pleased to have been featured in Farmers Weekly, highlighting Maui’s continued commitment to supporting sheep milk farmers and creating opportunities for the growth of New Zealand’s sheep dairy industry.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of delegates to our demonstration farm for an insight into the world of sheep dairy farming.
The visit gave our guests the chance to see our milking systems in action, learn more about the benefits and potential of sheep dairy, and better understand what goes on behind the scenes to produce high-quality New Zealand sheep milk.
And with lambing season in full swing, there was plenty of action happening around the farm! Our delegates even got to experience one of the season's highlights: feeding a newborn lamb.
We’re always proud to open the farm gates and share what makes sheep dairy so special.

Celebrating Another Great Season with Our Supply Farmers. Each year, the Maui Milk team hosts an end-of-season event with our supply farmers, a chance to celebrate achievements and enjoy some well-earned fun together. This year, we headed to the Waikato Clay Target Club for an afternoon of friendly competition, then dinner at the amazing New Hamilton Hotel restaurant.
This was also a great opportunity to recognise excellence across our supply farms through our annual Milk Quality Awards, including Best APC, Best BMSCC, Lowest BMSCC, and the Performance Achievement Award. Congratulations to all our award winners, and thank you to every supplier for your dedication to producing premium sheep milk.
