Pacific Jade™ is a versatile NZ hop offering smooth bitterness with bright citrus, lime, gentle spice, and subtle blackcurrant. She is ideal for lagers and pale ales and works early for clean balance or late for a fresh citrus lift - perfect for brewers seeking modern, vibrant hop character 💚

Developed by the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science Limited hop breeding program and released in 2004. Cross of the NZ variety “First Choice” (a relative of the Late Cluster) and an Old Line Saazer Male.

At Andrew Sutherland that means compost spreading is in full swing, while the cover crops, that were rolled and disced in autumn are now pushing back through winter. It’s all part of the cycle - building organic matter, improving soil structure, and nurturing the land that grows our hops 💚
