Taimate Angus

A really classy bull that we are going to be using quite a bit ourselves this season

Introducing Taimate Valor V57 - a bull we are extremely proud to have secured for the Picton Park Angus program.

- it’s been a pretty exciting couple of weeks for Taimate Angus. 🥩🙌

A huge hats-off to the New World Blenheim team for seeking out new ideas and going above and beyond the everyday demands of running a busy supermarket to bring them to life.

And the feedback on the beef itself? Absolutely outstanding!

We’re not quite sure what the next chapter of this paddock-to-plate story will look like yet…

All we can say for now is: watch this space. 👀

Not long to go now, it's going to be fantastic to see our TA brand on the shelves and enjoyed in Marlborough homes 😋

An international reputation.

The Taimate name is recognised internationally for outstanding Angus genetics - but this is the first time locals have had the opportunity to put Taimate beef on their plates.

Coming soon to New World Blenheim.

Great place. Great people

A lot of people race horses and never even manage to get one win.

For us at Taimate to have the very first thoroughbred we bred, be a 9 race winner with stakes over $230k, and getting all sorts of people invloved into the industry, we can only count ourselves very fortunate and also proud of our big girl.

With her mum still breeding for us, a number of younger siblings on the ground, the difficult decision has been made to sell Diva. She will undoubtedly go on to have a fantastic career as a mum.

A special mention must go out to David Hickman who's foresight, dedication and organisational skills have been second to none. The breeding and planning are one thing, organising and assisting dozens of syndicate members another!

Enjoy your retirement Diva, you've given us a great ride and plenty of fantastic memories.

I've put one of our best memories in the comments- her win at Awapuni

We don't often keep a bull at Taimate but Vern was an easy decision to do so, and after much enquiry we've decided to make semen available. First in first served.
