Next coffee destination: TANAT

Because we love discovering new coffee profiles, exploring different origins, we’re starting a new coffee series at FIGS, inviting international roasteries to our counter, one at a time.

For our first stop, we’ve chosen Tanat, a Paris-based roastery sourcing specialty coffee directly from producers, farms and cooperatives around the world. Through carefully selected lots and meticulous roasting, Tanat celebrates the unique character of each coffee, the terroir it comes from and the people behind every bean.

A little taste of the French countryside. 🇫🇷

Anne Rozès Pâté de Campagne: rustic, rich and deeply savoury, with that classic French character that makes a good pâté feel right at home on a slice of crusty bread.

Add cornichons, mustard, and call it lunch.

Newest drink on the menu: Cascara Cherry Tonic. 🫶🏼

First, the cascara. It’s the dried fruit and skin of the coffee cherry, basically, the part around the coffee bean that usually gets left behind.

Brewed like a tea, it tastes nothing like coffee: think dried cherry, hibiscus, rosehip, a little natural sweetness and a gentle tartness.

We add tonic for that bright, sparkling lift. The result is light, juicy and refreshing, with a subtle caffeine kick and naturally rich in antioxidants

P.S. If you come looking for actual figs… we hate to disappoint.
We’re mostly about good food, good finds, and a very good name. We do have a few figgy things on the shelves, though, just enough to keep the name honest.

Consider it our little ode to the fruit we accidentally made part of the family.
